To the official web site of Pam Bainbridge-Cowan, writer of the novels Something in the Dark, Cold Kill and Yetzirah.
Most recently I've been working on my new novel, Cold Kill, with the help of Washington County Medical Examiner Gene Jacobus who was the lead consultant on Ann Rule's book, Murder by Sunset. I've also been working with a local sheriff's deputy getting an inside look at what the day-to-day life of a deputy is really like. I'll be doing a ride along as soon as my paper work gets finished. Sometimes I'm not sure what's more fun, the writing or the research.
I'm also rewriting my query letter for Yetzirah. A well known fantasy author suggested I submit it to a particular agency that has good ties to the movie industry. She seems to feel Yetzirah would make a great movie, and hey, who am I to argue.
Hopefully I'll be posting news of the sale of one of my novels soon. In the meanwhile I'll keep placing my non-fiction and short-stories while keeping my fingers tightly crossed. Wish me luck!
Best,
Pam
